And-What do we all do now?

In this collection of poetry, a lighthearted and fun-filled journey unfolds, guiding readers through the realms of alien encounters and life alongside extraterrestrial beings on Earth. Through various poetic forms like haiku, limericks, villanelles, sonnets, and more, the poems explore themes of universal consciousness, intergalactic relationships, and the wonders of cosmic unity.

The poems whimsically depict how humans greet and entertain the aliens, from hosting motorcycle rallies to attending movie marathons. They show how embracing different perspectives and shedding old ideas lead to acceptance and love between humans and their alien friends.                                                                       90 pages

EXCERPTS

Are You Ready?

Whether your scientific, logical, and practical,

Religious, black, green, grey, or blue.

We all need to get ready and be adaptable,

Our ancient Visitors are arriving soon!

For in the vast expanse of the cosmic sea,

Where distant galaxies shine like stellar art,

A ship draws near, with beings yet unseen,

To bridge the gap and grant us a new start.

How shall we greet these Visitors from afar?

Will fear and mistrust be our initial reply?

Or will we open our hearts, our minds unbarred,

Embracing the unknown with curiosity high?

The first encounter, a momentous occasion,

As diplomats gather, tensions rise and fall,

A tapestry woven with threads of persuasion,

In this cosmic drama, something fate foresaw.

Perhaps we'll present our best achievements,

Showcasing progress in science and art,

Sharing our triumphs, our human brilliance,

To win their favor from the very start.

Or maybe we'll turn to our ancient lore,

Unleashing myths, legends, and tales untold,

Seeking common ground, shared beliefs explore,

To bridge the gaps between cultures of old.

But let us not forget our humble state,

In this vast cosmos, a mere fleeting breath,

For in their presence, we may recalibrate,

Our notions of power, love, life and death.

They may be benevolent, wise, and kind,

Guiding us towards a future yet unknown,

Or they may bear knowledge that we must find,

To elevate understanding, and balance the ozone.

So whether you're skeptic or need some relief,

Whether you fear the sky or any dark place,

Let us prepare and get excited beyond belief

For a rendezvous with beings from outer space.

For in the 21st century's evolving tale,

A chapter awaits grand and extraordinary,

When humans and aliens shall finally hail,

In a dance of wonder, hope, and all things
    interplanetary.

Searching for a New Best Friend

In a tiny spaceship,

I'm afloat,

An ant-like alien, fearfully remote,

As I approach Earth's vast expanse,

Fear grips me and I do a little ant-like dance.

Humans, giants of towering might,

Fill me with trepidation, a restless plight,

Their size, their strength, I can't comprehend,

Oh, how I fear this encounter, my friend.

With trembling legs and antennae askew,

I shrink in my spaceship feeling taboo,

Will they see me as a threat to their realm?

Or will they stomp me like an overwhelmed ant overwhelmed?

Oh, humans, I beg you, be gentle and kind,

For in your presence, I am but a tiny find,

Let's bridge our worlds with curiosity's light,

And overcome the fear that clouds our sight.
